Unusual Signs For Hormonal Imbalances

Random acne at 40, vaginal dryness, breast tenderness, constipation, heavy/painful periods, night sweats; these are just some of the unusual signs for hormonal imbalances in women. Hormonal imbalances can occur when there isn’t enough, or sometimes too much, of a hormone in your bloodstream. Hormones play an essential role in your body, so even the slightest imbalance can affect you. If you’re experiencing any of these symptoms, you may be a good candidate for bioidentical hormone therapy.

Hormone Therapy

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy is the use of natural sources to create new hormones in your body that are identical to the hormones your body is lacking. As these new natural hormones are added to your body, you start to regain what your body was missing. The goal of hormone therapy is to get your body back to feeling like it did when you were in your 20’s and increase your energy, libido, bone strength and so much more. At The Riegel Center we help you balance your hormones so that you will start to get that drive back. We continually monitor your hormones and modify them as needed to ensure you are getting the best results.

Signs to Look For

In addition to the symptoms mentioned above (random acne, vaginal dryness, breast tenderness, constipation, heavy periods, and night sweats), some of the more common signs of a hormonal imbalance include:

-Reduced sexual desire
-Decreased muscle strength
-Difficulty sleeping
-Fatigue
-Thinning hair
-Weight gain
-Moodiness (anxiety or depression)

Both common and uncommon symptoms will vary from person to person because all bodies are different.

How It Works

If you or someone you know is experiencing any of the symptoms that we have mentioned, hormone replacement therapy may be the solution. At The Riegel Center, we are able to provide virtual hormone therapy so you are able to receive treatment directly from your home. We also offer in-clinic options for our patients in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

We will first do an initial consultation with you and then from there you will go to your local LabCorp location to get your blood drawn. Once Dr. Riegel has received those results, he will send your customized hormones directly to your home with step-by-step instructions. Dr. Riegel will continue to modify your hormones and make adjustments as needed with continued blood-work as well.

Not sure if hormone replacement therapy is what you need? Take our free hormone quiz today! We will let you know if you are a good candidate for bio-identical hormone therapy.
